Looking for a fun way to pass the time at San Diego Comic-Con and get a fun commemorative patch? Help gather convention research for us! Stop by the booth and we’ll give you a pamphlet with all the details on how to earn this year’s 2023 Convention Research Patch. We promise it’s a lot of fun.

Our research tasks are in three categories:
• Character Documentation: Establishing a record of attendees and others at the con.
• Artifact Collection: Gathering items of interest or value to the con.
• Digital Preservation: Recording events, groups, or activities at the con.

Our requests are subjective and open to interpretation - if you can convince us, we’re happy to mark the task done.

Completing 4 tasks per category -for a total of 12 - gets you the 2023 triangle badge (while supplies last).

You have the duration of the con to complete and return to the booth. We know SDCC asks a lot of us all and this research should fit right in alongside all your other con obligations. When you’re ready to show us your work, head back to the booth to get everything checked off.

Redemption hours are:
Thurs-Sat: 3PM - 7PM
Sun: 11AM - 4PM
